TS-110 Self-Powered Governor
The TS-110 is a self-powered electronic governor. A 9V battery provides enough power to the integral I/P converter to initially open the steam control valve.

Once the turbine is running, the speed probes provide speed measurement and enough voltage to continue powering the TS-110.

The TS-110 allows for replacement of hydro-mechanical governors on remote location steam turbines where external power may not be readily available.

Major features of the TS-110 include:

  • Self powered (no external operating power required)
  • Integral I/P converter to interface with a pneumatic positioner
  • Isochronous and droop speed control
  • Electronic overspeed function
  • Digital tachometer speed readout
  • Local and remote shutdown
  • Local speed setpoint
  • 4 -20 mA or 3-15 psig remote speed setpoint options
  • Broader speed control range than any mechanical governor
  • Backup unit auto-start
  • Standard NEMA 4X stainless steel enclosure
