Our HART Communication Input/Output Interface Modules are robust, high performance distributed process I/O modules designed to integrate HART field devices into the I/A Series System. These fieldbus modules (FBMs) provide real time access to process data & status plus on demand access to field device parameters & diagnostics.
Increased Performance. Until now, typical HART multiplexers have been too slow to integrate the information in your HART field devices as an active element in your control and information strategy. Our fieldbus modules HART interfaces optimize the use of HART protocol through their use of a high speed 4-20mA circuit & dedicated HART modem on channel. The dedicated modem insures the fastest communications speed possible making it possible for:
- 100 ms analog response on primary measurement
- Real time failure alert and status
- Utilization of real time diagnostics in the field device
- Use of secondary values in control scheme
- Full access to all device information
- Ability to upload and download configuration
- Re-arrangement of field devices from the console
